The American Dream

TransOcean Carrier was established in 1991 by Melvin, Anna, and Richard. When we immigrated to America we had nothing but the clothes on our back and a dream to create a better life. 

The journey to where we are today was a long and arduous one where we faced many new and unfamiliar challenges and much adversity, including: labor, regulatory, economic, competitive and business development challenges.  As we discovered the “hard way”, it is no easy job to be a critical link in a global supply chain that facilitates the flow of necessary goods to needed destinations. We even had to face imminent obsolescence and yet we uncovered and satisfied unmet market needs which has helped us thrive for over 30 years now.   

Today we are delighted to be standing firm and tall, realizing that because of our tireless efforts, we have triumphed.  The relationships cemented, the challenges / obstacles overcome, and the valuable life lessons learned have forged us into who / what we are today.  

But we must always remember where we came from and continue to care for our extended family and the ecosystem that we are so fortunate to be a part of: many of whom helped us along our journey.  We have enriched our community for many generations.  We have empowered our people to think differently and act responsibly.  We have collaborated with all partners, customers, and vendors to provide situations that are beneficial for all. And, we are particularly proud that everyday we are helping to make the American Dream a reality for drivers, employees, and our community for many generations to come.
