Long Beach, Calif. – June, 4, 2024- TransOcean Carrier Inc., a leading drayage company in the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, today announced the addition of 20 zero-emission, battery-electric trucks to its fleet. The new trucks are part of TransOcean Carrier’s commitment to sustainability and reducing its environmental impact.
The new trucks features innovative vehicle technology compared to gas trucks:
- 80% efficient compared to 40% for typical gas powered vehicles which increases operational efficiency and leads to more profitability
- Zero emissions leads to lower carbon footprint
- Eliminates the need for using natural resources by the thousands of gallons of fuel
- Products resealable carbon credits when the trucks are running

The new trucks will be used to transport containers between the ports and warehouses in the Los Angeles area. TransOcean Carrier expects to begin taking customer orders for zero emission moves/deliveries in summer of 2024.
